Each year, The First Tee of Southern Nevada and the SNJGA Tour take its top players ages 13-18 around the country to participate in national events and represent Southern Nevada.  

These team events are some of the most prestigious amateur events in the country.  Some tournament alumni include Tiger Woods, Peter Jacobson, Fred Couples, Lorena Ochoa and Natalie Gulbis.   In order to qualify for these events each junior will need to meet certain and specific criteria.

Here are the criteria to be eligible for consideration:

• Butch Harmon Series Championship Series Participant

• Have a valid Passport (Girls Only)

• Play in at least 3 of the below events

  • 2008 Spring Break Tournament (Los Prados GC)

  • April Event (TBD)

  • BH #1 (Siena GC)

  • Jr. World Qualifier (Tuscany/Arroyo @ Red Rock)

  • Boulder City Jr. Championship

  • BH #2 (Reflection Bay)

  • Nevada State Jr. Championship (Silverstone GC)

• Be in good standing with The First Tee of Southern Nevada by not having a No-Show or improper withdrawal record.

• Have an understanding of The First Tee’s Nine Core Values

Each of the above events has a point value associated to the first 5 places.  If the event is not specific to the Butch Harmon Championship Series the 13-14 and 15-18 age divisions will play from the same set of tees and the top 5 scores will be awarded the points. 

Players will be selected based on an accumulated point total. 

90% will be based on tournament competition points.

10% will be based on volunteer hours given back to TFTSN.
Each hour will be worth 15 points.
